Black Bat is the epitome of a cocky superheroine. Following a lead she goes in alone to an international criminals lair. He trades in advanced scientific research and she wants to see secrets he has stolen. The villain tries to get her with a rag but her sonar power warned her and she easily handles her would be assailant. The tables get turned and the criminal takes pleasure in breaking the Black Bat.
Wondergirl is attacked at an office where she stopped by to make sure everything was safe as she was asked to keep an eye on things while the owner was away.
